Who we are.
This policy applies to Web Stacked Pty Ltd (“Web Stacked”, “we”, “us”), a digital agency based in Melbourne, Victoria, and to this website. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect.

Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, analytics tools collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region, not your address) and the site that referred you. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies and is reported to us in aggregate.
Information from client work
While delivering a project we may be given access to your website, CRM, ad accounts or other systems, which can contain personal information about your customers. We only access and use that information to deliver the agreed work, and we treat it as confidential.
How we use it.
We use personal information to reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals; to deliver, support and invoice our services; to keep records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records; and to understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to, and we don’t use your information for any purpose you wouldn’t reasonably expect.
Cookies and analytics.
This website uses analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) to measure visits and understand which content is useful. These cookies don’t identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies won’t stop the site from working.
Who we share it with.
We only share personal information when it’s needed to run our business or deliver our services. That includes service providers we rely on, such as email, file storage, website hosting, analytics and accounting software; specialists working with us on your project, with your knowledge; professional advisers such as our accountant or lawyer; and government bodies or others where the law requires it.
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information.
Storage overseas.
Some of the service providers we use store data on servers outside Australia, most commonly in the United States. When we use these providers we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect personal information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we protect it.
We store personal information in reputable, access-controlled systems and use strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information.
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, through our contact page. We’ll respond within 30 days. If we can’t meet a request, for example because the law requires us to keep a record, we’ll explain why.
Making a complaint.
If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first through our contact page and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
